Rock With Us - 25/07/2009

I truely feel that me and Erik are super heros - just look at what we did this week. First of all, we didn't have to go to work since we are good responsible people. After dealing with dad and mom's solicitor and the agent, we got a really big thing predominating the whole Kingston area. We had time to take Monty out for the whole afternoon, walk him on the beach and play fetch with him. Well, of course the most enjoyable thing would be having his poop bag (with poop inside!!!) in hand all along... We drove all the way down to Woodbridge for a Peppermint Bay lunch with lovely fakers (Oh yeah, I love fakers...). Having a flake cone and watching My Life in Ruins were apparently fun too.

Hah, how was your hard working week, the Great Kingdom?

I'm a believer in Global Warming again... - 19/07/2009

I'm back home, and a believer in Global Warming again... Don't know if any of you guys have noticed, but today was bloody warm... OK, maybe I'm catastrophising a little bit, but it was still quite warm...

As the only long weekend before the September holiday, I thought we had Maldini breakfast but it was actually on last Sunday. Anyway, we spent lots of time watching Las Vegas, playing Wii Tomb Raider and walking Monty down to the beach. All good.

It was amazing... - 16/07/2009

Paperwork Queen - 14/07/2009

A few weeks ago, Antarctica decided to have a white-out festival, which had made Hobart truly a slice of Europe. The dark, gloomy and rainy version though. Our life during that time was mostly involved in holidaying (IN THE RAIN!!!), lazing about with Monty (IN THE RAIN!!!). I could have written about those times but the entries would have been largely identical.

A few days ago, Antarctica realised that any festival had to come to an end. The whole city was back to its sparkling and shining style again. We felt very rejuvenated. However, don't we all have crunch time? Knowing that even though the good day is just out there luring us and we have no work, we have to wake up to sit at a laptop all day and churn out emails and paperwork? Yeah! That was what I'd been doing last week... Okay... Because I've got sore foot, I had the joys of feet up doing paperwork all day long. So for a long time (a whole week, to be accurate), getting out of bed with the only plan for the day to do yet another bunch of paperwork was my life. Exciting! So again, because my crunch time is officially over, I am taking Monty out for a long walk down to the beach NOW.

Comments:
We have been way too busy (mostly for Erik) and lazy (mostly for myself).
Monty is 22 weeks old this week. We love him.
