The Not-Very-Clear Version of Snorkelling Photos - 22/11/2008
Photos were taken by Erik and dad at the Cove, Christmas Island.

We were not going to buy a real professional underwater camera case for 500 bucks and once we had to give up a dream. More than a month ago, we took dad and mom for a refreshing snorkelling down at the Cove and I started to think: what about putting my camera in a transparent plastic bag or wrapping it in some good quality Glad Wrap and taking it underwater??? Obviously, I wasn’t going to do that either. What I did was that I found out a dealer in Singapore selling all kinds of underwater camera cases for all kinds of small cameras. Well, it really fits my UNPROFESSIONAL SMALL CAMERA perfectly. So I paid happily and he sent it down to me via courier happily. The not-very-happy part was that it took around 3 weeks to reach to CI (better than coming by ship anyway…). Dad so believed that it must be a piece of crap as soon as he saw it, cuz he insisted that the seal part doesn’t seem to seal off at all. I had to tell him that’s how it works and I wasn’t actually 100% sure about it. However, the truth tells the family - I’m always right!
So, here we go - the not-very-clear version of snorkelling photos taken on a not-very-sunny Friday.
