Doctor Parr VS Patient Marr - 24/12/2007

It’s about going to see a doctor and going to see a doctor as a private patient. Well, it’s actually about 2 things.

First of all, we went to see the doctor again as I hate fighting with the silly tonsillitis all by myself and I believed (last night) that if I wasn’t going to see a doc this morning, I would die. However, I told Jo the nurse that I’m allergic to Penicillin (It’s good that we all hate antibiotics!) and this almost made her die. It can be concluded as - for the first time, we don't have to say to the doctors: We only speak English, can you please speak English? After Jo, we went to see Hellen the Pharmacist and had some Vitamin C and a small bottle of very ugly-smelled “Anti-Cep” something Gargle. Now, I’m healed…

Secondly, we switched our private health insurance plan to MBF from Medibank. A positive step is taken… -_-;;

What’s more… Merry Christmas!!! The Big Kingdom and the Great Kingdom people!!! :)))

Kampong, Christmas Island
(It was taken on a very stressful Thursday morning with the “I hate the CI Removal” mood…)

The Icy Blue - In the Middle of Nowhere - 20/12/2007

So Erik and I had breakfast at Malay Club down in the Kampong - it’s been something we’ve wanted to do for a long time. We’ve been waiting for its “normal” opening and during the time we’ve patiently seen frangipani’s Nth bloom this year. It is not “fun” in any other sense of the word. But we made it and finally distinguished the “pancake roti” from the round one… -_-;; Here are the photos taken that morning on its veranda:

Magic Happens - 10/12/2007

The real rain season begins, crabs survive on their way marching to the sea and back to the jungle.

Therefore, we had a play with the crabs at Flying Fish Cove, had a bushwalk in Territory Day Park listening to all those busy rustling sound underneath the fallen leaves, found 5 different crab species and Tahitian Chestnut. Whatelse? We even found passionfruit trees with countless little fresh passionfruits on it in this island.

Just add up something for our new 2008 diaries.

Getting Famous All Around the World - 01/12/2007

What I’m saying is that our faces are going to appear in France, Korea and Britain, and I’m not kidding. OK, this is crazy and I don’t like it, at all. The bigger thing is actually that the decision is made. So please, people who have been catwalking in London streets, continue with it. There was a conversation this morning between 2 men with a point of trying hard to love this place. It is “LOVE THIS PLACE” but it is not the place. The real need is just a slogan hanging up on the wall with some red and blue fancy writing.

Again, one year after, the end of an era and the beginning of a new. To celebrate, like this:
