Oh... Christmas Island... - 05/08/2007
Some changes could really happen if I had enough breakdowns at home. I refused Alan and refused to take over the class, twice, in only 2 weeks time this term. He is a sad man, but I am sick (I call it beautiful-voice disease).
After the biggest breakdown ever, Saturday morning, I found that the sky was sort of the “Hobart Sky”, the podcasting was sort of the “Churchill Ave Style Podcasting”, the car was sort of returing to its sparkling shining colour after shower; the everything was sort of the everything I have been missing… So, it had to be a play hard Saturday.
Sunday, everything's back to normal. Christmas Island is always Christmas Island, the little tiny tropical island in Indian Ocean.
The exciting news - we are heading to Cocos Islands this October!

Ode to My Laptop and Sort of Human Being's Secret Plus - 03/08/2007
I have not used my laptops for more than an entire week, and it’s not been liberating. I have instead been spending all my time in trying to fix it up. With very bad outcome however, one fully dead, one half dead, together with all my D Drive rubbish babies’s gone away. For this kind of situation, am I supposed to refer to a famous SMELLY CI lady’s quote “no one bothers you unless you bother yourself”?
